manifesto

On february 9th I went to the opening of Manifesto by Julian Rosefeldt at Hamburger Bahnhof. It is just incredible: Cate Blanchett plays 13 different characters reciting texts by Tristan Tzara, Kasimir Malevich, André Breton, Wassily Kandinsky, Claes Oldenburg, Sol LeWitt, Jim Jarmusch and Lars von Trier among many others. The costumes and settings are so good, it is an amazing piece of art. I will have to go back several times to see all of them.
I am very proud that my son is starring in the scene where Cate Blanchett is a teacher. It was shot in his school as Julian Rosefeldts son is also attending it. Ruben is not in the classroom scene, but outside on the courtyard. They have been freezing all day during the shoot last year, but the result was absolutely worth it!
