Last week I walked by gallery Jordan/Seydoux on Auguststr. and saw drawings and prints by Damien Deroubaix.
Right away my big passion for print and woodcut flamed up and reminded me that I should get a piece of wood and get back to it.
During my time at Parson's New York I did a lot of printing under the guidance of wonderful teacher and printer Paul Marcus.
For example the Etching 'Heads are Rolling'. Unfortunately I suspect that only one print exists of this one, as the plate was lost in the trunk of a NY taxi.
And the woodcut 'Lindenstrasse', the roof of a house my father was renovating in Potsdam shortly after the wall came down.
