I recently bought 2 wall maps of german landscapes which were used for school. I like the surface of these old maps, they have a canvas haptic to them, but they are much more robust than canvas. I started glueing my thin tissue papers on to them, and therefore create new images with my visual vocabulary. The painted landscapes will become abstract images.
